We recognize Mr. Daniel Arbili, ESOL Teacher
Helping students settle in a new country, with new surroundings, a new school, new people, a new language, new friends, and helping them begin communicating with others is a huge challenge. Coming from a multicultural background myself and having lived in over 20 countries I know how hard being thrown into a new "world" is...The first year is very important for language learners who need to familiarize themselves with everything new and seeing the sudden improvements after the initial "shock" period is over and hearing them say their first sentence in English is the best thing in the world! I love seeing students learn new things which will help them succeed later in life and being part of that makes me very proud!

We recognize Mr. Randy Laird, Social Studies Teacher
Mr. Randy Laird is our CHS’s U.S. Government, Contemporary Issues, and Geography teacher. He is also the advisor of our National Honor Society, co-advisor of the senior class, the organizer for prom this year, and the social studies department chair. To Mr. Laird, teaching means educating the youth on how to be productive citizens in our community as they continue to grow in this changing world.
