Attention Class of 2024:
If you are interested in attending a Service Academy, then this is for you. Congressman Andy Harris’ virtual Service Academy Information Session will be held tomorrow, Thursday, June 29, at 6:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to hear stories of veterans who attended academies, admissions representatives and to learn about the Service Academy Nomination Process.
Interested students should send an email to MD01Academy@mail.house.gov and they will then be sent a virtual link.

Reminder to all summer school students. The bus will leave Crisfield High School at 6:45. The bus will pick up students at Marion Station at 7:00 a.m. The bus will then pick up students at Dash-In at Westover and arrive at Washington High School at 7:30.

Summer School begins Monday, 6/26/23! As we prepare to welcome students back for the summer, please note that bus transportation schedules will be sent via EMAIL over the next few days to the address used to register your student in PowerSchool.
Bus drivers will NOT notify parents/guardians via phone call this year. Please check your email for an automated message with your student's transportation information.


Alumni Update!
Chad Baker & Noah Soukup, both 2020 graduates of CHS, recently graduated from the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy and are now Wicomico County Deputies with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Dept. Congratulations guys!


Two of the last field trips for the year! Mrs. Robin Ford, along with Mrs. Randi Merritt and Mr. Randy Laird took students to the Smithsonian in D.C. on Monday. Yesterday, Mrs. Georgia Justis took a group of students to the Crisfield Library.



Today, June 6, 8th grade awards were given in all areas. High achieving students were recognized by Math teacher, Mr. Andre Scholler, English teacher, Ms. Traci Young, Science teacher, Mrs. Kari Horner, and Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Erin Walbert. DAR essay winners and participants were also recognized. Great job to all!








Mrs. Mandy Lankford's Physics class went out and played wiffle ball last week after studying energy transfers in systems - kinetic energy, gravitational potential energy, and mechanical energy. But they really wanted to play ball and they have worked hard!

Eighth Grade Awards coming up!


Crisfield High eighth graders participated in the Somerset County Olympiad on Wednesday, May 31, and brought home some medals! Congrats to all!




Spring Sports Awards were given out last evening for Track & Field, Baseball & Softball, and emceed by Athletic Director Greg Bozman. Minds In Motion awards were also given to those students who maintained a 3.25 GPA while playing sports. Many thanks to coaches Wayne Howard Sr., Jeff Cuff Sr., Erin Walbert, Jean Berard and Greg Bozman! Congrats to all!









Don't forget to come out this evening (May 30) at 5:00 pm for the Spring Sports Awards in the auditorium!
