Mrs. Miles class is busy studying the Renaissance. They have investigated primary sources and informational text in order to explain how Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo’s achievements embody the Spirt of the Renaissance. Then they were able to simulate Michelangelo’s experience painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel!

Mrs. Brumley chose 2 Artists of The week this week! The first is from Mrs. Hall's class. He recently made and painted an awesome iguana with paper mache that was on display at the Somerset County Public Schools Art festival. The second is Dalton from Mrs. Mariano's class. He has recently made and painted a very cute little duck that was also displayed at the ARTs Festival! Congratulations to both!!
