Today this young man asked Mrs. Gibson how many weeks we have been in school. When Mrs. Gibson told him, "three weeks," he told her, "Well, this is the best third week of school I've ever had. I'm doing such a great job I got to take this laptop to Mrs. Laird and I've earned 5 tickets!" Shout out to this young man for all of his hard work! Way to start the year off strong!!! xoxo Mrs. Gibson

The Maryland Center for School Safety released information late last night about a nationwide social media threat that has been circulating throughout communities. SCPS wants to make all of our families aware that this threat has been deemed non-credible by local law enforcement, and schools will continue normal operations today. As always, student and staff safety is our highest priority and we appreciate the outreach from our community on this issue.
