She read her favorite book when she was little, “ Pinkalicious”. This is the 2nd time she has read to their class. The first was during Veterans Day via Zoom. This time she met them in person! We are thankful for your service, Molly! You make us proud to call you at Woodson Elementary Alumni! 💙🌊

Cooking & Gardening Club members ended Session II by preparing and enjoying chicken nugget mashed potato bowls as something they could make for their lunch or dinner at home over the summer months. Members also transferred cucumber, pepper and broccoli plants the raised beds. They grew them over the past few months from seeds. Hopefully over the summer, we will reap the harvest!

Mrs. Nicole, with the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program, came to visit today. She has come once a month all year long to provide nutrition lessons to students in Mrs. Miller’s classes. Today, she taught an interactive lesson showing students sugar contents in the things they drink. We thank Mrs. Nicole for all her engaging nutrition lessons this year!
