
We want to thank the school community for raising over 4,000 for the American Heart Association! Mrs. Jones highlighted our top two fundraisers Paisley K and Kingsley B and rewarded them with a goodie basket. Mrs. Walters gave Target gift cards to our Spelling Bee winners Nellie and Brantley. Mrs. Walters also highlighted Gabriella for being our top Joe Corbi fundraiser in the fall. Big thanks to all our students and communities for making our school so successful!

DIS hosted its Spelling Bee yesterday with 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. 1st place was Nellie and 2nd place was Brantley in 5th grade. They will be moving forward to the regional spelling bee competition on March 2nd at UMES. Good Luck and Congratulations! 🎉
