
Happy World Kindness Week!!


This year at Greenwood, we are hosting our winter concert on December 12th at Washington High
School (10902 Old Princess Anne Rd.). This is an opportunity for our students to showcase what they have been learning in music class this year.
-Second grade will perform at 6:00 PM (Please arrive by 5:45).
-Third grade will perform at 6:30 (Please
arrive by 6:15).
-Fourth and Fifth grade students will perform together at 7:00 PM (Please arrive by 6:45).
**These concerts will run on a very tight schedule. Please help your students to arrive by the appropriate call times.**
Additionally, those students who choose to participate will be rehearsing at WAHS during the school day on the 12th. We will leave from Greenwood during the day (those who are participating), and will rehearse for about 1 hour on the stage before returning to the school.
Please send your student in professional attire. Festive colors are welcome. Dresses and skirts should end below the knee. Boys and girls (those not in dresses) should wear a button-down collared shirt, and dress pants with black shoes. Ties and jackets are an added bonus! No casual clothes (tee-shirts, hoodies, jeans,
sweat pants, etc).
Please read the following permission slip, sign, and return it by Monday, November 13th!

Somerset Veterans: please join us for a Veteran's Day celebration at either high school on November 9 at 8:00 a.m. Crisfield and Washington High will hold honorary programs and serve breakfast to local veterans and guests. We hope to see you there!

5th grade students went to the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center today! There were exhibits highlighting past missions conducted at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility.
