Each classroom just received fresh socks to use as dry-erase erasers. Ms. Collins' class turned them into puppets! Now they have erasers with personality! #loveit! #greatengagementstrategy!

Check this out! Mrs. Miles challenged her fifth graders to empty a bottle of toothpaste and then get every bit back in. Then she shared "Mr. Peabody's Apples by Madonna" and asked the students to try to make a connection between her challenge and the book. The main character in the book realized that once words come out of someone's mouth, it's hard to take them back; just like it was hard to get all the toothpaste back in the bottle. What a powerful lesson for all of us! Words are POWERFUL and can be used for both good and bad. We're going to use our words for good at GES! Great lesson Mrs. Miles and awesome job to all the students!
