Hello DIS Families,
Out of an abundance of caution, we are sending home devices for students in case we need to utilize virtual learning on January 26th. 2nd-5th will be bringing home their laptop, laptop charger and bag. Prek-1st will have an iPad and charger. Teachers may also include worksheets/packets with the devices. We would suggest placing these items in a safe place so they do not get damaged or lost. Devices should be used to school purposes only per the Acceptable Use Policy signed in the beginning of the year. If you were absent and did not receive your device, we will make up the work upon your return to school. When we return physically to school, please bring all the materials back. More information about Virtual Learning will be posted if the county makes that decision to do so. Today, we started a Reading For Education program to help our school raise money. Scan the QR code on the Book Buddy Lanyard that was sent home with your student to find out how the program works. Parents, please read over the information describing how you can participate.
